About this Privacy Policy
At Tactyc, we care about your privacy and the protection of your personal data. However, we do need to process some data connected to you in order to deliver our service and continuously improve our product. This privacy policy explains which data we collect, how we use it and which rights you have in relation to our processing of your personal data.
This privacy policy applies to Tactyc.io and Tactyc as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution in connection to which Tactyc is the data controller. Tactyc is, however, not a data controller for any personal information relating to other individuals that might be included in the files uploaded to our servers. In this case, you or your company are the data controller and Tactyc is considered the data processor. If you decide to publish any personal data, you are responsible for ensuring that the publication of such data is in accordance with applicable legislation.
Which personal data do we need?
To be able to use Tactyc, you must supply us with your email address, first name, last name and company. We like to stay in touch with our users by sending out newsletters and surveys via email. When you use our product, we will also receive your IP address as well as some system-related and diagnostic data which tells us how you use our product and how our system is performing.
Limited Use Requirements
Tactyc's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How do you use the fund and investment level data that we have uploaded into Tactyc?
Firstly, all the fund and investment data uploaded into our system is owned by you and not Tactyc. This means we cannot use your data for anything other than calculating your fund metrics.
We only use the fund and investment data to calculate metrics for your dashboard. This data is not aggregated in any benchmarks we provide in our software.
Thirdly, our internal employees do not have access to your fund and investment data unless they are explicitly called to open your fund for troubleshooting or debugging purposes. We need your explicit permission to open your fund model.

Will my fund or investment data be aggregated in any benchmarks provided by Tactyc?
No. Your fund and investments data is only used for calculating your fund and not included for any aggregation or benchmarking purposes.
Do you sell any customer, fund or investment data to third parties?
No. The data is owned by you and not us. We do not show, sell or give your data to anyone other than yourself.
Why do we collect your information?
We collect your email address to enable you to login to our system and keep track of you in our Customer Relations Management (CRM) system. You, however, fully control how much you share with us. We collect system data to analyze the use of our system, scale performance to deliver enough computing power for all users, as well as to further develop Tactyc.
How long will we keep your personal data?
We will keep your personal data for as long as you are a registered user of Tactyc. If you decide to discontinue usage of Tactyc, all user data will be deleted within 24 hours upon request.
What is our legal basis for processing your data?
We need some of your personal data in order for you to be able to use Tactyc. If you have chosen to contact us we will process your personal data in order to be able to respond to you. We will send you emails with information about and surveys related to our product based on our interests as a business. You can, however, always opt-out from receiving such emails.
It is also important for us to be able to analyze the use of our product based on system usage data and other diagnostic data so that we can further develop Tactyc and ensure best performance.
Disclosure
We will only disclose your personal data if we are required to do so by law or court order. In all other cases, your personal data will not be shared with anyone.
Security
We handle your personal data in a secure way to ensure it is not lost, inappropriately accessed, misused, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Access to your data is provided to members of our team who need it in order to be able to perform their jobs (i.e. the product marketing department have access to your email and personal information, while product developers have access to usage information).
Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct, amend or delete your personal information stored with Tactyc as well as the right to data portability. You also may have the right to demand restriction of processing your personal data, to object to processing and to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority. We are committed to respecting the data subject rights found in the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on Tactyc.io. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you that it has been updated so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we share and/or disclose it. If Tactyc is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners in order for them to continue delivering the product.
